Nourish Mental Health & Wellness offers individual therapy services in-office and via telehealth and specializes in a variety of concerns. Telehealth sessions are offered via Zoom platform. In-office services are provided with COVID-19 safety precautions in mind. My office is conveniently located just outside of Minneapolis off of Highways 169 and 55 in Golden Valley.

Grief/Adjustment to Life Transition/Change
Death of a loved one, Managing caregiver stress, Adjusting to a new medical diagnosis including cancer, End of a relationship, New to parenthood, Marriage/Partnership, Co-parenting, Divorce/separation, Termination from job, Starting a new job and/or Starting school.
Anxiety/Worry
Persistent worry thoughts, Physical symptoms of anxiety including panic, Intrusive thoughts, Nagging "What if" questions, trouble concentrating, Trouble sleeping, Self doubt holding you back and/or Feeling uncomfortable around others.
Chronic Illness/Chronic Pain
Managing biological, social and psychological impacts of chronic pain and chronic health conditions including pain due to injury, cancer, cancer treatment side effects/long lasting impact of cancer treatment, Diabetes, Irritable Bowl Syndrome, Crohn's Disease, Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Exploration of career aspirations, Professionalism, and Communication patterns including assertiveness.
Stress Management/Burn Out
Feeling overwhelmed, tired, unproductive, unmotivated, irritable and/or uninspired. Pursuit of attainable self care routine and sustainable ways to manage stress and address burn out.
Depression
Sadness, Low mood, Fatigue, Trouble concentrating, Trouble making decisions, Urges to isolate/withdraw, Low self esteem, Guilt, Lack of "appetite for life" and sometimes thoughts of self harm and/or suicide.
Relationships
Relationship concerns with family, friends, and coworkers. Ineffective communication patterns, Conflict with others, Boundary concerns, Lack of support system and Relationship roles including parenting and partnerships.
Skills Acquisition/1:1 DBT Skills Trai
1:1 personalized Dialectical Behavioral Skills training is available. Skills can be used to increase mindfulness and awareness regarding thoughts, feelings and patterns of behavior. Skills can also be used to increase one's ability to more effectively tolerate distress and regulate emotions. Skill application can also lead to increase levels of interpersonal effectiveness with self and others including setting and keeping healthy boundaries and improving self respect.
